Here at the Gift Shopping at the Home Store, we search a wide variety of sources on a continuing basis to offer items we hope will be of interest to you. We take your satisfaction and security very seriously. If you have any comments or questions, we'd be most happy to hear from you.  To keep our prices down, at this time we do not produce a catalog.

You may order via fax, or mail (money orders) if you're uncomfortable ordering over the internet.  Simply print out your order and mail or fax it to us.  Your order will be processed as soon as payment is received.  Our servers are secure, so you need not worry, but you have other ordering options if you choose.  

All orders are initially processed within 2 business days.  We ship our items via UPS ground, allowing 2 to 3 weeks for delivery. Since UPS can't deliver to PO boxes, please include a street address. At this time, we ship only to the 48 continental US states.  You will receive email confirmation of your order.  Please keep the order number, and refer to it in any correspondance.  No returns will be accepted unless first cleared through us.  We offer a 30-day, money-back guarantee.  All items must be returned in their original packing after receiving return instructions from us.  You must contact us at returns@home-store.net for authorization and directions regarding return procedures prior to sending the item back.  

If you need to cancel an order, it must be done within 24 hours of placing the order.  Any order cancelled after shipping occurs will be credited back minus the original and return shipping costs plus a restocking fee of 15%.  This policy requires that all packages be returned to us unopened and in good condition.  

In the event that the customer response is greater than we anticipate, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of the item being out-of-stock, as well as the estimated arrival date if available.  We do not back-order any items. We try to update our site as soon as we know an item is out of stock. Sometimes during busy periods something might slip by.  We will always communicate with you if there is a problem.  Your satisfaction is our most important concern.

Product Definitions:

ALABASTRITE:  Our fine line of alabastrite creations is fashioned by combining oxylite and polystone to form a stone-based, polyresin material. This unique combination allows the sculpting mastery of the artesian to be captured in intricate detail in each handsomely finished product.

HAND CRAFTED/HAND PAINTED: Items may vary in size or color when compared to photographed samples shown on this site. Figurines, carvings and other hand painted items of porcelain, alabastrite, ceramic, wood, stone, glass, etc., are created by various artists and artisans. Each brings an individual and personalized talent to his products truly one-of-a-kind collector's items.

PATCHWORK: Our fine Patchwork collection is crafted by talented artisans who select items made of porcelain or polyresin and take great care in applying unique fabric or paper prints to their surfaces. By adding 12 layers of lacquer and hand polishing between each layer, the end result is a unique item which adds a handsome touch to your home or office.

PORCELAIN:  Fine ground, white clay is molded and oven fired for 8 hours at 120 degrees to form our attractive porcelain items. A glaze or underglaze is then added and the piece is returned to the oven one final time to intensify the outer finish.

SOAPSTONE: Our Soapstone items made in Kenya are individually crafted by hand and thus design, color and size may vary from piece to piece adding to their unique beauty.
